Position
Purpose:
Responsible for providing drafting and technical support to the application engineer to whom assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Prepare customer approval drawings for custom orders (SMOs)
- Complete fabrication and assembly drawings from Product Designers
- Maintain profile layers on custom part drawings
Successful candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent work experience with technical school training in drafting preferred. Must be proficient in Solid Works and personal computers with a background with Windows. Prior drafting experience is very beneficial. Good written and oral communication skills required as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Must have the ability to pass solidworks Associate examination.
Physical/MentalRequirements Needed to Perform the Essential Functions of the Position:
Normal standing, bending, walking and lifting in an office environment. Must be able to sit and work at a CAD station for several hours at a time. Must be capable of doing light assembly work in the engineering lab occasionally.
