✨Join our group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage is hiring for an Unlicensed Therapist at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona ✨

Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by farm student housing for 300+ youth, a thrift store, cafe, barbershop, and church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. The campus also includes a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, and an athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more).

The Unlicensed Therapist BHT works as a staff member of the Behavioral Health Counseling Clinic. The unlicensed professional shall provide individual, family and group counseling services to clients and their families according to the needs documented in their assessment and treatment plan. This position reports to the Clinical Director or other designated supervisor within the clinic.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, and/or other related behavioral and mental health field.
• Experience in delivering behavioral health services with Medicaid/Medicare billing and documentation standards.
• At least two years of experience working with children, teens and family in a behavioral health counseling setting.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Hours are based on the need of the program. Schedule subject to change based on the need of the program.

• Masters or better in Human Services or related field.
• 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health Services.
