CFMWS – WHERE PURPOSE MEETS PASSION!

At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we’re more than just a workplace; we’re a proud community dedicated to supporting Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, and their families in their daily lives. We carefully curate and provide programs and services designed to meet their unique needs and enhance their mental, social, physical, financial, and familial well‑being. Our employees deliver recreation, sports, fitness programs, customized financial services, retail services, access to retail savings and discounts, family support, and charity events.

Our success stems from living our values. Our employees care about their role in supporting the Canadian Armed Forces and act with integrity in all they do. We thrive in a close‑knit environment, acting as one team with one mission. We constantly seek new ideas and creative ways to deliver the best possible programs and services. As an employer, we offer a commitment to your health, wellness and growth, and a diverse range of roles across many locations for a meaningful impact.

THE ROLE

The Assistant Lifeguard plays an important role by providing quality leisure programs, services, and ensuring the safety of our military members and their families.

Assistant Lifeguards, in support of facility Lifeguards, are responsible for the safety and well‑being of members. They may provide supervision of a zone or location where specific equipment or activities require targeted supervision (e.g., water slide, rope swings). Assistant Lifeguards provide surveillance over swimmer safety, model and promote safe aquatic behaviours, give positive public relations, respond to emergency situations, and provide basic patron care.

This is an excellent growth position for individuals who have current Bronze Cross certification and want to develop their skills as a lifeguard.

We are looking for dynamic, independent and motivated individuals to join our team, helping us ensure recreation stays safe and fun! Learn more about CFMWS’s aquatics team by visiting
