As a Sales Associate (Inside Wholesaler), Investments, you will play a key role in promoting iA’s investment products—including segregated funds, HISA and GICs—as well as our services to independent financial advisors through the MGA network. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing business relationships not only with advisors but also with the administrative staff within MGA offices. - Work in close collaboration with your territory Sales Director in developing a business plan to achieve sales objectives.
- Produce and deliver training to MGA advisors on iA products, sales concepts, and illustration software.
- Understand the business model of the advisors and Business Development Managers (BDMs) in the MGA network.
- Run portfolio recommendations.
- Prepare and drive Sales campaigns on iA products.
- Solicit new business and maintain contact with advisors.
- Use our CRM software to increase sales.
- Create and revise presentations using Power Point software.
- Hold regular touch point (in-person, virtual, phone, email, etc.) with the advisors assigned to you for prospecting, increasing sales growth, and recognition.
- Propose, create, and share growth ideas and concepts.
- Attendance at planned conferences, road shows, presentations, and organized events for supporters during evening and weekend hours, as required.
- Reviewing sales reports for strategic prospecting.
- Is known for their excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivate business partners.
- Stands out for their strong training capabilities, including leading, teaching, coaching, and motivating others.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and delegate effectively.
- Is recognized for their ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Has experience in the individual insurance industry or brokerage environment and holds a Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma.
- Has excellent written communication skills.
- Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
