Position: Grain Farm Worker - LMIA Job in Rural

Job Summary

MNC JOBS INFO is actively seeking dedicated and hardworking Grain Farm Workers to join our team in rural Canada. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about agriculture, enjoy working outdoors, and are looking for long-term opportunities with the potential to settle in Canada through the LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) support program. As a Grain Farm Worker, you will be an integral part of daily farm operations, including planting, harvesting, and storing grain crops.

Key

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (tractors, combines, etc.)

  • Plant, fertilize, cultivate, and harvest grain crops

  • Load/unload grain, seed, fertilizer, and other farm materials

  • Inspect and monitor crops and soil conditions

  • Clean and maintain storage bins, silos, and barns

  • Follow all farm safety protocols and procedures

  • Assist with irrigation, weed control, and pest management

  • Keep daily logs and report to farm supervisors or managers

  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Valid drivers license (tractor or heavy equipment operation experience is a plus)

  • Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot farm equipment

  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and long hours of standing

  • Understanding of farm safety standards

  • No prior criminal record (required for immigration processing)

Experience
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in farming or agriculture preferred

  • Newcomers with relevant experience from other countries are encouraged to apply

  • Training will be provided for motivated individuals

Working Hours
  • Full-time position: 40 to 60 hours per week depending on season

  • Shift work may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak seasons

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Strong team player with effective communication skills

  • Physically fit and comfortable working in rural/outdoor settings
