In the context of sustained growth, the firm is looking to strengthen its Business Law team in its Québec City office.
The RoleAs a Business Law Lawyer, you will work directly with entrepreneurs, executives, and decision-makers on a wide range of transactional and commercial matters. You will be actively involved in mandates, with real exposure to clients and decision-making, while benefiting from accessible support and guidance from experienced mentors.
Responsibilities- Participate in transactional and commercial matters, including occasional financing mandates
- Work on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and commercial law files
- Draft and review commercial agreements and transactional documents
- Collaborate closely with senior lawyers on complex mandates
- Maintain direct client contact and actively contribute to moving files forward
- Gradually develop your autonomy and grow your practice within the team
- Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar
- Experience gained in private practice, ideally with a strong interest in bank financing, mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, or a combination of these areas
- Entrepreneurial mindset, professional ambition, and a desire to grow over the medium term
- Strong legal rigor, sense of responsibility, and a client-focused approach
- Willingness to learn from mentors and take an active role in files
