Job Description
As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for the design, development, and operation of the company’s data platform (data lake, pipelines, analytic layers). This role is central to Davie’s data strategy and aims to provide a robust, scalable, and well‑governed foundation that supports data usage for both BI (Power BI) and advanced analytics and artificial intelligence use cases. You will act as the technical owner of the data platform, ensuring the quality, reliability, and sustainability of the data, while working closely with the BI, business, and IT teams.
More Specifically, You Will
Design and evolve the data platform architecture (data lake, data zones, transformation layers).
Develop, maintain, and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
Ensure data quality, integrity, historization, and traceability.
Implement data governance standards (nomenclature, documentation, controls).
Prepare and present reliable and consistent datasets for the data warehouse and BI tools (Power BI).
Design datasets ready for advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI‑ready/feature‑ready).
Collaborate with business and BI teams to translate business needs into concrete data solutions.
Monitor the performance, stability, and costs of the data platform.
Contribute to technology selection and long‑term data architecture decisions.
Participate in reducing technical debt and continuously improving the platform.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Have five to ten years of experience in data platform, analytics, or data architecture roles.
Experience in designing and operating data lakes and data warehouses.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and data modelling.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow or equivalent).
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and historization principles.
Experience working with BI and analytics environments (Power BI or equivalent).
Strong understanding of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence requirements.
Experience with cloud or hybrid environments—intermediate to advanced level.
Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken). Fluency in French is required for this position, as you will interact with French‑speaking suppliers, stakeholders or clients.
