The System Administrator ensures the proper operation of the company’s IT infrastructure components. They ensure that system configurations meet business needs and align with the organization’s technological directions.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy and provide ongoing support for infrastructure components (SD‑WAN routers, switches, Wi‑Fi access points, etc.)
- Apply software patches to various systems, either manually or using automation tools (Ninja One, Ansible, etc.)
- Automate software and configuration deployments using device management platforms (MDM) and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, with a focus on reliability and performance
- Support the deployment and continuous improvement of the EDR solution
- Configure, monitor, and test data backups using Veeam
- Install, configure, test, and/or troubleshoot virtual machines on Nutanix and Red Hat Open Shift Virtualization
- Ensure the maintenance and integrity of the Active Directory structure
- Coordinate the resolution of technical issues with various vendors’ technical support centers
- Work closely with the technical support team to ensure all members have the tools and knowledge required to respond to employee requests
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another relevant field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment, UCS servers, Windows and Linux environments, backup technologies, VoIP, virtualization, and storage (SAN)
- Customer-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and team spirit
- High level of rigor and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English, orally and in writing; systems, tools, and interventions are in English
