TALTEK is looking to fill the following position for one of its clients:

CONSULTANT – Data Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a consultant for a Data Analyst role to support projects related to data analysis and management for one of our clients. The mandate involves working on data design, transformation, and validation in a complex environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and reconcile complex data structures from multiple sources;
• Design and document technical and functional specifications for systems;
• Develop and optimize ETL procedures for data integration and transformation;
• Program in SQL and create complex stored procedures to meet project requirements;
• Prepare and execute documented test cases to ensure deliverable quality;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and propose solutions;
• Ensure data and process compliance with standards and best practices;
• Provide analytical and technical support during design and implementation phases.

REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis and SQL development;
• Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and complex database environments;
• Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices;
• Strong analytical skills, able to analyze and reconcile complex data structures;
• Solid experience in preparing system design documents and specifications;
• Good knowledge of ETL procedures, methods, and tools;
• Highly proficient in SQL programming and creating complex stored procedures;
• Meticulous in preparing and executing documented test cases;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams;
• A background in finance or accounting would be an asset;
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 F&O application, data structure, and configuration.
• Bilingual (French/English) required for daily communications outside Quebec.
