Responsibilities
  • Own the full recruitment process from intake to offer signatures, strategically sourcing, interviewing and providing feedback to your client groups.
  • Get creative with sourcing techniques, tapping into the best resources for each requisition.
  • Take full ownership of the candidate experience, acting as a brand ambassador and showcasing our initiatives to become a top employer of choice.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through the experiences and guidance you provide to client groups.
  • Think one step ahead, connecting with passive candidates and building strategic talent pipelines for upcoming project work.
  • Assist with new hire employee integrations, supporting onboarding and providing assistance where needed.
  • Be active in the local community, supporting Pomerleau’s employer branding and creating memorable first impressions.
  • Act as the strategic support and subject matter expert for client groups, providing coaching and thought leadership on recruitment best practices, interviewing techniques and candidate experiences.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably in construction or high‑tech.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment metrics and a solid track record of delivering results.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders and client groups.
  • Extensive sourcing experience (Boolean and X‑ray search) using tools such as Linked In Recruiter.
  • Experience maintaining an updated talent pipeline in an Applicant Tracking System.
