Summary:

The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations and provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist HR team with HR policies and procedures by means of research, draft creation and employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding efforts including new hire correspondence, orientation, offboarding documents and exit interviews
  • Participate in employee relations issues and work with HR team to create action plans
  • Administer employee engagement programs and activities which include Engagement surveys, Service Awards, Kudos rewards programs, communication initiatives and workplace events
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Assist all areas of the HR team including Operations, Talent, Benefits and L&D as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years related experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • SHRM-CP credential preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

The HR Coordinator works in a professional office environment and collaborates regularly with employees, managers, and HR team members across multiple business locations. This role involves frequent interaction with confidential and sensitive information and requires a high level of professionalism and discretion. The work environment is fast‑paced and deadline‑driven, particularly during onboarding, performance review cycles, and employee engagement initiatives. The position primarily involves working at a desk using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers, with occasional participation in meetings, orientations, and workplace events.
