Montréal, Brossard, or Québec.
Contract:
14 months. Hybrid model: 3 days in office.
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to support a complex, multi‑province payroll environment for approximately 2,000 employees. The role ensures accurate, compliant end‑to‑end payroll processing and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities- Review full payroll and balance reports to ensure accuracy before release.
- Interpret payroll data and recommend solutions.
- Build and maintain effective internal client relationships.
- Provide specialist advice on policies and procedures, escalating complex issues.
- Manage benefits deductions, group RRSPs, third‑party transfers, and statutory hour tracking.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for leadership, Finance, and HR.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data between HRIS and ADP Global View.
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal payroll legislation.
- Maintain ADP Global View system functionality, updates, and integrations.
- Collaborate with Finance on reconciliations, remittances, and third‑party payments.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Provide timely and professional support to employees, managers, and government inquiries.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert on Canadian payroll legislation and compliance.
- PCP designation (National Payroll Institute) or in progress.
- Post‑secondary education in Business, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
- Eight or more years of Canadian payroll experience across multiple provinces.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance, and reporting.
- Expertise with ADP Global View and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with audits, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with integrity.
- Collaborative, self‑motivated, customer‑focused attitude.
