Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to support a complex, multi‑province payroll environment for approximately 2,000 employees. The role ensures accurate, compliant end‑to‑end payroll processing and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Review full payroll and balance reports to ensure accuracy before release.
  • Interpret payroll data and recommend solutions.
  • Build and maintain effective internal client relationships.
  • Provide specialist advice on policies and procedures, escalating complex issues.
  • Manage benefits deductions, group RRSPs, third‑party transfers, and statutory hour tracking.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports for leadership, Finance, and HR.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data between HRIS and ADP Global View.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal payroll legislation.
System & Process Support
  • Maintain ADP Global View system functionality, updates, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with Finance on reconciliations, remittances, and third‑party payments.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Provide timely and professional support to employees, managers, and government inquiries.
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert on Canadian payroll legislation and compliance.
What You Will Bring to the Team
  • PCP designation (National Payroll Institute) or in progress.
  • Post‑secondary education in Business, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
  • Eight or more years of Canadian payroll experience across multiple provinces.
  • Advanced knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance, and reporting.
  • Expertise with ADP Global View and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with audits, reconciliations, and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with integrity.
  • Collaborative, self‑motivated, customer‑focused attitude.
