- As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing proactive sourcing strategies (including headhunting) to build strong relationships with key professionals in the market.
- Designing and executing creative and effective recruitment strategies that combine traditional channels with innovative approaches.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and tools to optimize the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Integrating artificial intelligence solutions to enhance the efficiency and quality of the selection process.
- Collaborating with managers and Talent & Culture partners to clearly understand workforce needs and define target profiles.
- Writing engaging job postings that highlight our distinctive benefits and development opportunities.
- Reviewing applications, conducting interviews (phone, virtual, or in person), and assessing candidates’ potential and cultural fit.
- Effectively coordinating interview process stages between candidates and hiring managers.
- Conducting reference and background checks for selected candidates.
- Maintaining transparent and attentive communication with candidates throughout the process.
- Managing and enriching a talent pool to support the organization’s future needs.
- Actively participating in various cross-functional projects within the Talent & Culture team, based on interests and expertise.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an entrepreneurial, manufacturing, or engineering environment, with an international scope.
- Proficiency with sourcing tools such as Linked In Recruiter and Indeed Sourcing.
- Bilingualism in French and English required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a high level of autonomy.
- Positive attitude, strong customer service orientation, and ability to build trusted relationships.
- Excellent knowledge of recruitment best practices and market trends.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, priority management, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and sound judgment in candidate assessment.
- International recruitment experience (an asset).
- Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (an asset).
- Ability to interact effectively with professionals at all levels and collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams.
