We have partnered with our client in their search for an Interim CHRO

Position Summary

The Interim CHRO will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all human resources functions during a transitional period. This role ensures continuity in HR operations, drives organizational effectiveness, and supports executive leadership in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. The Interim CHRO will manage talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development while preparing the HR function for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership

    • Assess current HR policies, processes, and organizational structure; recommend improvements.
    • Support cultural transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Talent Management

    • Oversee recruitment and onboarding for critical roles.
    • Implement strategies for employee engagement, retention, and succession planning.
    • Ensure performance management processes are effective and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Compensation & Benefits

    • Review and optimize compensation structures and benefits programs.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management

    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
    • Oversee investigations and resolve employee relations issues.
  • HR Operations

    • Manage HR team and ensure continuity of day-to-day operations.
    • Drive improvements in HR technology, reporting, and analytics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive-level roles.
  • Proven ability to lead HR strategy and operations during periods of transition.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation practices, and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in interim or turnaround leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with HR technology platforms and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to quickly build trust and credibility with stakeholders.
