Location: Baie-Saint-PaulEnergetic and passionate about customer service, the ideal candidate has a knack for problem solving and strong leadership skills!
Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, the Maitre D will coordinate all front-of-house food and beverage operations. Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and knowledgeable in wines and spirits, they create memorable moments while supporting the team in providing high-quality service.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Ensure guest satisfaction and the overall quality of the customer experienceAnticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and recognize returning guestsManage the monthly inventory of wines and spiritsProvide hands-on support to the team with various service-related tasks to ensure smooth operationsWork closely with the Food & Beverage ManagerPresent and train the team on new products (wines and spirits)Develop the cocktail menuManage wine selection and maintain professional relationships with suppliers to ensure a high-quality offeringWHAT YOU'LL BRING
Hotel experience is an assetAt least 5 years of relevant experience in the restaurant industryAt least 5 years of relevant experience in managementStrong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and mixologyCollaborative leadership style with strong managerial skills; an effective trainer focused on employee engagementProfessional, enthusiastic, personable, and proactiveAbility to work under pressure during peak hoursExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWHAT WE OFFER
