Design Engineer – Aerospace & Defense
Responsibilities- Developing new product part designs and generate accompanying type design documents
- Attending to product change requests and handling subsequent 3‑D modeling and 2‑D part drawing creation
- Uploading design data into customer’s Product Definition Management (PDM) system and into our own PDM system
- Developing and implementing project timelines and maintaining product release schedules
- Following CFR 25.856(a) and (b) with regards to flammability requirements for insulation methods and procedures for acoustic production
- Working on‑site at customer location in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada and supporting routine problem‑solving activities with customer
- Managing project cost and scheduling customer meetings in supervisor’s absence
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to job start)
- Five (5) years of design and/or drafting experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- One (1) year of experience using Catia V5 modelling and drafting software
- One (1) year of experience with Product Definition Management Software, including Enovia
- Experience managing customer expectations regarding schedule and requirements
- Experience with other IT tools including CITRIX, DATALINK, eROOMS, and Smar Team
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
- Experience transacting in SAP
- Remote – Mirabel, Quebec, Canada
May include up to 25% of the time in Canada and the United States

CompensationThe expected compensation range is $106,646 – $130,346, which includes base pay and variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
