Job Description
The Advanced Digital Solutions and Data Group is looking to add a Senior IT Solutions Architecture Advisor to its team. We are seeking a qualified professional with over 10 years of relevant experience. The selected candidate will be recognized for their technical expertise and interpersonal skills, acting as a Consultant. The Advanced Digital Solutions and Data Group is currently carrying out several projects in the areas of intelligent mobility, public transit systems, electrification, and energy management.

Primary Responsibilities   Provide consulting support to internal and external clients
Understand business objectives, strategic priorities, and operational challenges
Translate ambiguous problems into clear, prioritized requirements
Assess the impacts of IT technology solutions (costs, risks, timelines, benefits)
Explain complex concepts in accessible language
Produce clear deliverables, including recommendations, diagrams, and roadmaps
Develop solution and system architectures, considering technological platforms
Contribute to the specification of IT solutions to be acquired
Certify and ensure the quality of solution projects
Present produced deliverables to stakeholders
Evaluate and analyze emerging technologies
Support clients throughout system development and project work, validating systems

Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology, Software Engineering, Automated Production Engineering, or other equivalent training
Relevant and significant experience in solutions architecture
Experience in consulting
Strong general technical knowledge across multiple areas of expertise (IT infrastructure, software development, data engineering, cybersecurity, cloud computing) to maintain a comprehensive, global perspective
Bilingual (English/French, spoken and written): bilingualism is an essential requirement for this position, as it enables effective collaboration with our diverse stakeholders
Membership in the OIQ as a Professional Engineer (asset)
