Industrial Electrical Drafter

• Prepare plans for various electrical works in the industrial sector;
• Research and pre-select electrical components;
• Bring innovative ideas to improve techniques and work quality;
• Coordinate all plans with other disciplines and offices as the responsible drafter;
• Provide technical support to project managers, technicians, and engineers;
• Validate compliance of plans and specifications with guidelines, standards, and codes;
• Adhere to rules and procedures that ensure employee health and safety, environmental protection, and incident prevention. Additionally, in a continuous improvement mindset, be proactive in enhancing health, safety, and environmental procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.

• Hold a vocational diploma in industrial drafting or equivalent training and/or experience;
• Have 10+ years of relevant experience in industrial drafting;
• Be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software;
• Knowledge of Plant3D software (an asset);
• Experience in multidisciplinary projects;
• Familiarity with Inventor or Solid Works functionalities is an asset;
• Knowledge of industrial environments, mining, and water treatment is an asset;
• Enjoy teamwork and communicate effectively.
