Overview

A busy professional family in Montréal is looking for a child caregiver who can also provide housekeeping and assist with other domestic tasks. This is a permanent, full-time position of 30 hours per week, 4 days per week. The schedule is Thursday to Saturday with two shifts (7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.), and Sunday with two shifts (8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.).

The salary is $34.62 per hour. The caregiver will usually have three days off on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; however, this may vary depending on the employer’s schedule, so flexibility is essential. There is an option to live in at no additional cost. The caregiver may also be required to take care of the home and supervise the children in the parents’ absence.

French or English is required.

• General high school diploma – Completed.
• 1-2 years of experience with children or equivalent experience (such as work or studies as a teacher, nurse, midwife, or psychologist).
• Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, experience with children.
• French or English required.
