• You will be responsible for conducting a continuous and comprehensive motor vehicle mishap prevention program for Marine Corps Base, Marine Corps Combat Development Command, and all other organizations and tenant activities.
• You will write and maintain a comprehensive Commercial Motor Vehicle Licensing Standard Operating Procedure.
• You will prepare written research when developing and preparing local traffic directives and regulations through adaptation of higher command instructions and policies formulated by other federal agencies.
• You will conduct research when preparing written procedures for implementing motor vehicle mishap prevention activities including safe work area and safe materials handling practices.
• You will establish and manage a Material Handling Equipment/Forklift course for the command that include establishing a course outline in accordance with the appropriate orders and directives, schedule and conduct training.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Class A commercial driver license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain AAA and NSC accreditation to teach their respective driver improvement program (DIP) and DIP instructor courses.
• Clean driving record
  -no major driving infractions in the previous 3 years (DWI, DUI, Reckless Driving) and no more than two lesser infractions in the previous three years.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .
