Job OverviewJoin a dynamic and forward‑thinking team as a Cloud Developer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data processing and analysis applications. Your work will support a federal customer’s mission by enhancing data operations through advanced processing, modeling, and analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy cloud‑native applications using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, and serverless architectures.
- Implement and manage Lambda Layers and containerized workloads using AWS ECR and Azure Container Registry.
- Develop serverless solutions leveraging services such as Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, and their Azure equivalents.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high‑quality software builds.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer’s data flow operations and analytics capabilities.
- Follow Dev Ops practices and CI/CD processes for cloud‑based and on‑premises deployments.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting software development in dynamic, operational environments.
- 3+ years of experience developing cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C/C++, Python.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Power Shell, or Perl.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native development, serverless architectures, and containerized solutions.
- Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., SAM, Serverless Framework, CDK, Cloud Formation, Terraform, Bicep).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- AWS and/or Azure certifications.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience integrating backend services with front‑end applications.
- Previous work in federal environments or mission‑focused software development projects.
This role involves working with cutting‑edge cloud technologies in a secure environment that requires an active Top Secret clearance. The team is currently mature in AWS and transitioning to Azure, providing a unique opportunity to be part of this evolution. A coder byte assessment is required after the initial screening and before the onsite interview as part of the application process.

Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $79.00 – $88.00 per hour.
