The course provides a national capability for CI Agents to independently conduct Counterintelligence investigations to determine whether a particular person is acting for or on behalf of, or an event is related to, a Foreign Intelligence Entity, as well as determine actions to identify the appropriate resolution.

• Devises plans that leverage all CI functions, missions, and CI investigative tools and defends their utilization.
• Conducts classroom instruction and practical exercises that frequently exceed 8-hour days.
• Work after hours and on weekends as required.

• 10+ years of demonstrated experience conducting, supervising, instructing, supporting and/or providing legal oversight of full-scope CI Investigations.
• Served as a senior CI investigator with experience conducting the full investigative cycle.
• Graduate from an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school; must be a graduate of JCITA National Security Investigations Course (NSIC), Advanced CI Investigations Course (ACIIC), AFCITC, or an Intelligence Community (IC) school equivalent.
• Active TS security clearance and eligible for SCI clearance with a polygraph or the ability to take one.
