Join Life Cycle Engineering in support of the NCIS IT support services mission headquartered in Quantico, Virginia. The Information Technology Directorate (ITD) supports the NCIS core mission areas to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats by planning for and providing services through appropriate use of the people, equipment, technology, and infrastructure resources of the United States (U.S.) Navy and Marine Corps.

As a Systems Administrator, you will supervise all personnel engaged in the operation and support of computer systems and peripherals for large scale operations. This position is expected to start in Q3 of 2026.

Must have an active Top Secret /SCI Secret Clearance

• Supervise and participate in complex operating systems, systems software planning and implementation, and production support activities.
• Interface with Contractor and Government personnel, confers with equipment and software vendors, and directs subordinate personnel to take appropriate courses of action.
• Provide security operations or coordinate security operations functions in support of cybersecurity accreditation - risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process.
• Write, edit, and prepare graphical presentations of technical information.

• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in operating computer systems.
• Must have minimum of three years supervisory and management experience in 7x24 operational environments.
• Minimum of Security Plus (Security+), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and CISSP certification. Meet the requirements of an ITA III per the DoD 8570.01-M.
• CISSP certification preferred.
• Experience in engineering data.
• Broad experience with virtualized environments, managing SANs/NAS devices, email services, desktop services, and a variety of technologies supporting computing capabilities.

• Travel will be required to support this task (up to 25% travel)
• Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
• Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
• Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment
