NCIS Systems and Database Administrator (Quantico, VA)

Join Life Cycle Engineering in support of the NCIS IT support services mission headquartered in Quantico, Virginia. The Information Technology Directorate (ITD) supports the NCIS core mission areas to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats by planning for and providing services through appropriate use of the people, equipment, technology, and infrastructure resources of the United States (U.S.) Navy and Marine Corps.

This position is expected to start in Q3 of 2026.

As a Systems Administrator, you will supervise all personnel engaged in the operation and support of computer systems and peripherals for large scale operations.

Must have an active Top Secret /SCI Secret Clearance

• Manages and maintains enterprise infrastructure including Active Directory (AD), Windows Servers (2019/2022), and Oracle/SQL databases.
• Responsible for virtualized environments, hyperconverged infrastructure, backup/recovery, and DNS/DHCP management.
• Supports 24x7 operational environments.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in system or database administration.
• MCSE or equivalent Oracle certifications preferred.
• Experience with RHEL, VMware, and GPO management.
• Security+ certification and DoD 8140 compliance required.

• Travel will be required to support this task (up to 25% travel)
• Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
• Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
• Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment
