Linux Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Linux Engineer with Security Clearance
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Linux Engineer to support our current NCIS contract out of Quantico, VA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* The Linux Engineer will maintain, update, and secure existing Linux systems on both classified and unclassified networks in support of Cyber investigations and operations.
* Candidates will be responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and securing Linux systems to ensure optimum performance with minimal downtime.
* Candidates may also be asked for creative contributions to improve existing processes and for surge support for various initiatives in areas related to their area of expertise

* Travel may be required to support operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree and minimum of 4 years of experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.X, 8.X, 9.X with a strong command-line interface (CLI) skillset (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).

* Experience securing Linux systems with DISA STIG requirements.

* Experience with Red Hat based tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.

* Familiarity with at least one common scripting language such as Python, Perl, bash, etc

* Experience with virtualization tools (Vmware, KVM, Proxmox) Preferred Requirements:
* Experience with monitoring solutions such as Icinga2 or Nagios Experience and / or willingness to learn Dev Ops and Automation.

* Familiarity with the DIACAP and/or RMF accreditation processes, specifically with configuring Linux systems in compliance with the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

* Experience with maintaining a secure, standard OS build process.

* Experience installing and managing Postgre

SQL. Security Clearance Required :
* Must have a current/active Top Secret with the ability to obtain SCI.
