The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Cameo Modeler with extensive experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using Cameo Systems Modeler to support a critical Department of Defense (DoD) mission. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in systems modeling, operational architecture, and mission thread development in alignment with DoDAF and UAF frameworks. This role is pivotal in supporting mission engineering analysis, capability gap assessment, and architecture development within a highly dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the development and maintenance of system models using Cameo Systems Modeler within DoD mission engineering projects.
* Develop and refine mission threads, operational views, and system architecture models aligned to DoDAF/UAF standards.
* Integrate existing and emerging capabilities (baseline and prototype) into mission-level architectural models.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify capability gaps, define decision points, and support the generation of data-driven risk and performance assessments.
* Interface with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, operators, and analysts, to ensure traceability across requirements and operational objectives.
* Contribute to a Government-managed Teamwork Cloud or similar collaborative modeling environment.
* Support technical briefings and model walkthroughs with Government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

* Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
* 10+ years of professional experience in systems modeling.
* Deep knowledge of DoDAF, UAF, SysML, and model organization best practices.
* Hands-on experience with Teamwork Cloud, Cameo Collaborator, and integration with other analysis and simulation tools.
* Strong understanding of mission engineering, kill chains/kill webs, and joint all-domain operations concepts (e.g., CJADC2).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with technical and operational stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
* Experience supporting Navy, Marine Corps, or Joint Staff mission threads.
* Familiarity with MBSE for advanced prototyping, digital engineering, or force design efforts.
* Knowledge of relevant government modeling environments, such as Navy Integrated Modeling Environment (NIME).
* Experience with scripting/customization in Cameo (e.g., validation rules, constraints, automation).

Certifications:

* OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) - Intermediate or Advanced; INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP or ESEP);
DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) Certification; and/or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) Training or Certification.
