Position: SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties Duty 1 - Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of AFOSI, ensuring that counterintelligence analysis and production complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Duty 2 - Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Duty 3 - Executes and manages worldwide Department of the Air Force (DAF) law enforcement (LE) and/or counterintelligence (CI) analytical missions.

Duty 4 - Establishes and maintains a current series of liaison contacts with, represents AFOSI at, and collaborates with DAF, DoD, national, and international agencies as a recognized authority in the field of intelligence support to LE and/or CI activities. Duty 5 - Represents AFOSI with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with DoD, DAF, and IC offices and personnel.

* All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
* Professional Staff (Pro-Staff) Suitability Investigations (PSI):
The incumbent must undergo an internal background investigation by AFOSI and must be approved for duty by the Commander of AFOSI or the Commander's designated representative(s).
* If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

* Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide.
* Polygraph:
Incumbent is subject to psychological screening/polygraph testing as an inherent primary requirement of their position.
* Mobility:
Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement.
* Overtime may be required as workload demands and in some cases with no-notice due to urgency of time-sensitive matters. Periodic shift work may be required if assigned as a watch-standing analyst.
* Employee must maintain current certifications.
* Disclosure of Political Appointments.
* Direct Deposit:
All federal employees are required to have direct deposit.
* Advance in hire may be authorized if there is demonstrable proof provided on your resume.
* Leave accrual may be authorized upon request.
* Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft/vehicle to conferences, meetings, or functions away from the duty office/location. Travel may include overnight stays.
* An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is highly desired.
* Requires extensive network of contacts throughout the intelligence, counterintelligence, law enforcement, and security communities. Qualifications This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the Supervisory/Management work category are at the Senior work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include:
Mastery of US intelligence and counterintelligence community policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases, and requirements to perform intelligence research planning, operations collection, target analysis, and other intelligence collection/analysis related activities. While applying a number of comprehensive skills in multi-source intelligence analyst to research, interpret, evaluate and integrate data in the production of clear, concise, in-depth intelligence products on counterintelligence issues;

coordinating junior analysts' multi-source intelligence analysis conducted in response to customer needs and intelligence production requirements and in communicating related products/information to a variety of audiences, such as the AFOSI and Air Force leadership, as well as the Intelligence Community. Employee must also apply knowledge and expertise of counterintelligence issues in the planning, organizing, and leading cooperative and coordinated counterintelligence analysis and collection initiatives.
