Management Analyst IV

Akima Data Management (ADM), an Akima company, is seeking a Management Analyst IV (MA-IV) to provide personnel administrative support to the Department of State, located in Quantico, VA. This position is to be located within DS/IP/OPO. The MA-IV will be assigned to provide assistance in Overseas Operations, Local Guard, Bodyguard and Surveillance Detection program information collection, storage, validation and dissemination practices and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • The MA has expert knowledge of management systems techniques, processes and technology that will optimize program operations and will perform a variety program tasks to support the Department of State Program.
  • MA exercises independent judgement and initiative daily and requires infrequent supervision.
  • The MA analyzes management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology. Analyzes administrative processes and/or office programs.
  • Writes reports, letters, and other documents with recommendations for management programs, policies and activities.
  • Develops new or revised management systems and procedures to facilitate the operation of programs within established guidelines.
  • The MA performs administrative and financial analysis and provides research, spreadsheet development, data collection, and analysis.
  • The MA oversees the preparation of various recurring reports such as monthly, quarterly, cumulative semi‑annual and cumulative annual reports. Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and proactively responds to changes in project scope, identifies potential issues and recommends actions.
  • Provides expert technical guidance and assistance to staff.
  • The MA Provides day‑to‑day support in diverse program activities and projects as well as performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience with database software;
    Proficient with Microsoft Word, Basic Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient written and oral communications skills, and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels, possibly under pressure situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and multi‑tasking abilities. Knowledge of Travel Regulations, VISA & passport application processing services as an end‑to‑end solution, which includes information collection, information dissemination, application processing for a valid Passport and VISA.
  • To begin contract performance, the MA shall possess a Secret clearance.
