Overview

The Category Manager – Fashion & Accessories will be responsible for managing, scaling, and optimizing the Fashion & Accessories category s role involves leading vendor partnerships, driving revenue growth, analyzing performance metrics, executing promotional strategies, curating competitive assortments, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience within the category. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset, deep understanding of the Qatari local Market, fashion trends, and experience in retail or e-commerce, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

Category

Strategy & Management
  • Own the end-to-end performance of the Fashion & Accessories category
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to increase GMV, margins, and market share
  • Build a compelling, trend-led assortment aligned with customer demand
Vendor & Brand Partnerships
  • Identify, onboard, and negotiate with local and international fashion brands
  • Establish strong supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing, exclusivity, and timely availability
  • Drive strategic partnerships and brand activations within the platform
Market & Trend Analysis
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify fashion trends, pricing benchmarks, and competitor activities
  • Monitor customer demand and adapt assortment accordingly
  • Leverage insights to ensure the category remains competitive and relevant
Product Sourcing & Assortment Optimization
  • Source new brands, emerging designers, and high-potential SKUs
  • Optimize product mix to balance trend, core, and seasonal collections
  • Ensure the right pricing architecture and positioning across segments
  • Track KPIs including GMV, AOV, conversion rate, margin, and sell-through
Promotions & Campaign Execution
  • Collaborate with Marketing to plan and execute category campaigns (Ramadan, Eid, seasonal drops, flash sales)
  • Identify hero products and promotional mechanics to drive conversion
  • Optimize in-app merchandising and visibility
Customer Experience & Merchandising
  • Ensure strong product presentation, clear descriptions, and competitive pricing
  • Continuously enhance browsing experience and assortment relevance
  • Actively monitor customer feedback and implement improvements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Logistics, and Finance teams
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, campaign execution, and operational efficiency
The Magic You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Management, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in category management, buying, merchandising, retail, or e-commerce (fashion experience preferred)
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret KPIs and make strategic decisions
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends and regional consumer behavior
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with marketplace tools is a plus
  • Arabic language is a strong advantage
