Project Manager – Autonomous Systems

Overview

Welcome to Snoonu’s TDG-funded Autonomous Robotics and Logistics Intelligence Platform. Lead end-to-end project management to ensure delivery of technical milestones, validation outcomes, and reporting requirements. Own project planning and execution across multiple work packages, coordinating timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across AI, robotics hardware, embedded systems, cloud engineering, QA, and operations teams. Build and maintain the master project schedule, ensuring clear milestone tracking aligned with TRL advancement targets and pilot demonstration readiness.

• Lead end-to-end project management for Snoonu’s TDG-funded Autonomous Robotics and Logistics Intelligence Platform, ensuring delivery of technical milestones, validation outcomes, and reporting requirements.
• Own project planning and execution across multiple work packages, coordinating timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across AI, robotics hardware, embedded systems, cloud engineering, QA, and operations teams.
• Build and maintain the master project schedule, ensuring clear milestone tracking aligned with TRL advancement targets and pilot demonstration readiness.
• Drive cross-functional coordination and integration planning across subsystems (perception, control, fleet orchestration, optimization engine, HMI, cloud-edge architecture).
• Monitor progress through defined KPIs and performance metrics, proactively identifying issues, blockers, and risks that may impact delivery timelines or research outputs.
• Manage project governance, including weekly progress reviews, technical check-ins, risk reviews, documentation tracking, and follow-up on actions to ensure execution discipline.
• Support stakeholder engagement and coordination with external partners, including regulators, academic collaborators, and ecosystem stakeholders (e.g., QCAA, MOT, universities, and innovation partners).
• Ensure correct documentation and reporting of technical deliverables, validation evidence, and R&D outputs required for grant compliance, audits, and internal leadership updates.
• Coordinate pilot readiness activities, including resource allocation, operational planning, safety preparation, test execution scheduling, and contingency planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution practices by implementing structured workflows, clear communication channels, and effective prioritisation across teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex engineering work into clear milestones and actionable plans.
• High ownership mindset, proactive problem-solving approach, and strong follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced R&D environments with evolving requirements and iterative delivery cycles.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working with technical teams, executives, and external entities.
• Proven experience managing technical or R&D projects involving software and hardware integration
• Strong understanding of Agile and structured delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, milestone-based execution).
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering workflows, including planning, execution tracking, and delivery reporting.
• Familiarity with the engineering development cycles, including prototyping, integration testing, pilot deployment, and validation.
• Competence using project management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Notion, MS Project, or similar tools).
• Experience managing projects involving robotics, IoT, AI/ML systems, or fleet/logistics platforms is a strong advantage.
• Awareness of compliance-driven execution (documentation, evidence tracking, audit readiness) is an advantage.
