Carpenter I Job Duties and Requirements:

• Provide hands-on assistance to senior carpenters with minor structural, wall, and flooring repairs (e.g., drywall patching, door hardware replacement, baseboard installation).
• Prepare materials for installation, including measuring, cutting wood/laminate stock, and organizing tools for transport and use.
• Perform touch-up painting and apply caulk, sealants, and simple laminate sheets to damaged surfaces.
• Safely remove old materials like shelving, cabinetry, carpet squares, and trim; clean up and maintain organized work areas.
• Basic knowledge of and ability to safely use standard power tools (drills, sanders, circular saws) and various hand tools.
