Job Description:
This position requires providing nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit for patients, including those in Level II Perinatal and postpartum care.
Responsibilities:
Perform cervical exams, antepartum and labor monitoring.
Administer medications such as magnesium and Pitocin.
Provide post-partum care for mom and baby beyond the transition period.
Engage in fetal monitoring and IV management.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery.
Current BLS and NRP certifications.
Proficiency in fetal monitoring (AWHONN or Relia's module).
Experience with HUGS Security system and Pyxis.
