TITLE: Production Operative
LOCATION: Puyallup, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday - Thurs, 6:30am-5:15pm;
Friday would be OT when permitted.
PAY: $18 - $19 DOE

ABOUT THE JOB:
Under the direction of the area team lead, this position supports daily operations across multiple work centers, including fabrication, assembly, coating, and other production areas.
JOB DUTIES:
Assemble heater cores, evaporators, and condensers using fixtures, jigs, and precision tools.
Perform brazing operations using a torch or oven/furnace to join copper or aluminum parts, ensuring clean, leak-free joints
Conduct water testing on completed units using pressurized systems to check for leaks, recording results accurately.
Interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications to verify correct dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
Inspect brazed and assembled components for quality, ensuring alignment, proper joint flow, and product integrity.
Safely handle and store gases and brazing materials; follow all PPE and ventilation requirements.
Monitor and maintain brazing equipment, reporting issues or wear to the supervisor for maintenance or calibration.
Perform minor repairs or rework on parts that do not meet quality standards, as directed.
Track material use, scrap, and output to ensure proper reporting and productivity.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day.
Regularly required to communicate clearly and exchange accurate information.
Frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs; occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Work in varying temperatures (indoors/outdoors) and around moving equipment.
Occasionally climb stairs as needed.
Must adhere to all safety guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic computer skills; able to enter and access data accurately.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, method sheets, and standard work instructions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage work priorities effectively.
