Opening: CNC Mill/Lathe Operator

City: Puyallup, WA

Our capabilities also include plastics and other non-metallic materials, allowing us to deliver solutions for complex manufacturing challenges across multiple industries.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a CNC mill/lathe machine operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer-controlled machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts. Your tasks will include reading technical drawings, loading materials, selecting appropriate tools, running machining programs, and inspecting finished components to ensure they meet exact specifications. You will also perform basic maintenance on the machines and make minor adjustments to improve efficiency and quality throughout the production process.

Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety are key in this role.

  • $25-$35 per hour DOE
  • 100% paid medical and dental
  • 9 paid holidays including birthday!
  • 5am-3:30 pm Mon.

    -Thur. (3 day weekends!)
WHAT YOU

NEED TO HAVE

Candidates should have prior experience operating CNC machines, ideally in a high-precision or aerospace environment. A strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is essential. Experience with tight tolerances, high-performance materials (such as titanium or Inconel), and quality control standards common in aerospace manufacturing is highly valued. Familiarity with machine setup, tool changes, and basic troubleshooting is also important, along with a focus on safety, accuracy, and attention to detail.
