Injection Operator (Nights)

• Responsible for overall preparation, set‑up, starting and running injection equipment.
• Perform minor adjustments to injection equipment as directed. No mechanical work is to be performed without prior approval.
• Accurately complete and update information forms and logs such as Injection preform and/or cap daily log, destruction logs and quality forms.
• Recognize unsafe conditions and actions and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operations. Personal protective equipment is required.
• Perform visual and mechanical quality checks to ensure production meets quality standards.
• Maintain general housekeeping in all production areas, including break rooms and rest rooms.
• Identify the difference between Vpet, Rpet & HDPE resins and parts safe for grinding and reintroduction to the resin system.
• Accurately fill out inspection sheets based on overall production quality and report all defects immediately.
• Work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision and perform relief duties when required.
• Troubleshoot minor production equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance as needed.
• Understand computer systems such as Shotscope, Electirc
  80, Ignition and others.
• Comprehend line flow and manufacturing process to maximize throughput.
• Communicate issues clearly and concisely.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule.
• Position duties may change at any time with or without prior notice.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of experience in this position or related duties.
  • Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years of experience working in this position.
  • 2 years of experience managing people or projects.

• Minimum
  
  Required:
  
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred:
  Associate’s Degree.

Hourly: $23.52 – $31.16 per hour.
