• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required (MBA preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience supporting complex, multi-entity businesses
• Proven experience operating at a true Controller level with ownership of full GL accounting
• Background in construction or adjacent industries is a plus, but not required
• Strong leadership presence with a passion for mentoring and developing accounting teams
• Experience supporting $50M+ revenue environments (preference for $100M+ scale)

• Establish, maintain, and monitor strong accounting processes and controls across supported operating entities
• Own full-cycle accounting and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
• Prepare and coordinate financial statements and audits in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Partner closely with Operations, IT, and Shared Services Accounting to deliver high-quality results
• Develop financial analyses and models to support strategic planning and business decisions
• Present financial insights, trends, and risks to senior leadership
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance tracking
• Lead and support integration of newly acquired business units
• Oversee union accounting books across supported entities
• Manage and develop an Accounting Manager and a team of professional GL accountants

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, qualifications/certifications, experience level, and geographic location.
• The expected range for this role is $130K–$180K, annualized base compensation, with additional compensation components. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.
