The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Puyallup is seeking a Chief Engineer to join our team. The Chief Engineer is responsible for overall maintenance and operations of hotel physical structures and equipment through management of the maintenance department. Recommends department budget and capital expenditures and manages expenses within approved budget.

Status- Full-time
- Monday through Friday day shift;
Must be available weekends and holidays
- $25.50 to $32.79 per hour/DOE

- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and respond to emergency situations after hours.
- Limited travel may be required.
- Education and Experience:
- Five years management experience in hotel building maintenance or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Licenses:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Heavy work:
Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Incumbent must be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to eight hours, lift and carry heavy materials, tools and equipment; climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps and perform physical labor under adverse weather conditions.
Must be able to hear, stand, bend, climb, balance, lift, carry, crouch, kneel and have a keen sense of visual acuity as required by job.
