Job description
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. In this pivotal role, you will drive talent acquisition strategies across various departments, ensuring we attract, engage, and hire top-tier candidates. - Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting plans to identify and attract qualified candidates through channels such as social media, job boards, campus outreach, and networking events.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating assessments to evaluate candidate fit.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Negotiate employment offers and contracts with candidates while ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and provide strategic talent acquisition support.
- Conduct targeted sourcing activities such as cold calling potential candidates and leveraging social media platforms to generate leads.
- Support onboarding processes by facilitating employee orientation sessions and ensuring smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
- Recruit and source qualified candidates for leadership roles.
- Source candidates on multiple recruitment platforms, including job boards, professional networks, university platforms, workforce partner channels, and digital recruiting tools.
- Manage VHS Indeed Employer Dashboard, including job posting strategy, subscription utilization, applicant communication, and posting performance insights.
- Develop and execute creative recruitment strategies to drive applicant volume and engagement, including innovative sourcing plays, hiring campaigns, recruiting events, and pipeline activation.
- Collaborate with site HR Managers to develop and implement localized recruitment plans, including site-based sourcing strategies and applicant conversion workflows.
- Partner directly with site HR to design recruiting action plans, build recruitment calendars, and strengthen leadership pipelines at the facility level.
- Train HR Managers and recruiting teams on platform utilization, candidate sourcing methods, interview coordination, and offer execution.
- Prepare and deliver formal offer letters and standardized hiring documentation aligned to company and compliance requirements.
- Initiate onboarding steps post-acceptance and transition candidates to facility HR leadership to ensure completion.
- Proven expertise in technical recruiting, executive recruiting, campus recruitment, and internal recruiting strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging candidates, hiring managers, and external partners effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive employment terms while maintaining positive relationships.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure legal compliance throughout the hiring process.
- Experience with social media management for talent sourcing and employer branding initiatives.
- Ability to conduct thorough interviewing techniques and employee evaluations to assess candidate suitability.
- Skills in research and lead generation to identify potential talent pools proactively.
- Understanding of training & development concepts for supporting employee growth initiatives like succession planning and employee engagement programs.
