Position SummaryThe Imaging IR Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of pediatric and adult patients for all Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab outpatient & inpatient services and procedures. This position requires the ability to learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab examinations/procedures, make quick, independent decisions using good judgment, and coordinate the daily flow of the Interventional Radiology department, Cardiac Cath Lab, Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and ARNP’s.
Requirements- Associates degree or certificate program in medical office related program preferred
- Medical Terminology certification
- Minimum one (1) year Interventional Radiology scheduling experience Three years scheduling patients in a medical setting or Imaging Support experience
- Minimum three (3) years experience working with EMR or RIS

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $23.02 - $35.03 USD, influenced by skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
