Civil Engineering Designer

Job Description

A consulting firm specializing in CIVIL ENGINEERING, SURVEYING, LAND PLANNING and ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE is seeking a Civil 3D CAD Designer to create and edit civil engineering design plans. This position is and IN OFFICE position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings of grading plans, road and utility profiles, road design, and project specific details using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards.
• Preparation of site development plans for large and small scale residential, commercial, multi-use and master planned communities.
• Creates drawings from written and verbal specifications
• Maintains all revisions of project drawings and reviews drawings for completeness
• Complete project goals within scope and budget.

Qualifications:

• Two(2) plus years of experience in Civil Engineering site development design
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D - 2018 or later
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Able to manage and multitask work in a fast-paced environment

This is a full time, in office position paying hourly for 40 hours per week plus overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly rate. Our compensation program recognizes and rewards employees for their hard work by offering annual performance-based bonuses.
