The Recreation Assistant Site Coordinator assists in the areas of childcare, enrichments, events, and Summer Camp.

- Always represent the core purpose and the mission of CCS
- Ensure the safety of children and staff at all times
- Provide children with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
- Follow a daily schedule that promotes individual student learning to their highest level
- Assist in planning and implementing a comprehensive theme-based curriculum (resources available)
- Ensure that daily school-age lesson plans are completed in advance, follow the Biblical Worldview curriculum, and Cougar Club program’s weekly themes
- Promote all recreation programs to positively enhance Cascade Christian Schools
- Evaluate subordinate staff according to CCS policies
- Maintain accurate monthly reports
- Use good judgment dealing with disciplinary, emergency, or security situations
- Uphold the Health Policy
- Uphold and maintain the disaster plans and overviews
- Assist in planning and overseeing monthly site staff meetings
- Attend all Recreation team leaders’ meetings
- Assist with planning professional development and staff training
- Provide support needed to run successful enrichment classes
- Provide campus support for all school events
- Always communicate with staff, students, and parents with positivity and red-carpet service
- Ensure that all programs are performing at the industry's level of excellence
- Perform related duties as assigned

The Recreation Assistant Site Coordinator must:
- Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action
- Be at least twenty-one years of age
- Agree with Cascade Christian Schools' Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
- Attend Cascade Christian Schools’ fall in-service
- Attend a Recreation Assistant Site Coordinator's orientation within 10 days of hire
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have two years’ experience in Childcare
- Have completed thirty hours of STARS training or possess an exemption
- Complete ongoing training hours
- Develop an individual training plan
- Clear a background check
- Possess a current CPR/First Aid certificate
- Complete yearly mandated reporter training
- Complete yearly HIV Aids and blood borne pathogens training
- Possess a current food handlers’ card
- Be on-site for the majority of the hours that students are on site
This position requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate phones, computers, and other office equipment. The Recreation Assistant Site Coordinator must speak clearly using the English language to accurately convey information, and be able to hear at normal speaking levels, both in person and over the telephone. Vision correctable to 20/40 is required to review written materials and supervise children. Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors and the Recreation Assistant Site Coordinator may be exposed to inclement weather conditions.
The Recreation Assistant Site Coordinator must perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and whole-body movements, such as lifting, walking, stooping, and handling materials. The Recreation Assistant Site Coordinator must frequently lift and/or move 30+ lbs. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. There is occasional exposure to safety hazards, chemicals, and other hazardous materials.
