- Licensed PA‑C in Washington State (or eligible for licensure)

Position SummaryMulti Care Health System is seeking a Colorectal Surgical Oncology Physician Assistant to join our well‑established, thriving and comprehensive practice. Responsibilities- First assist in surgical procedures and provide perioperative care
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical exams
- Supports surgical oncologists in both inpatient and outpatient settings, contributing to improved access, continuity, and outcomes for oncology patients
- On call for practice and ER as needed for the practice
- Independently manages hospital‑based care and outpatients
- Has specialized training or practice focused on surgical oncology, colorectal training preferred
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with colorectal surgical oncologists
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging
- Coordinates patient care with other specialties
- Supervises RN and MAs in the treatment of surgical patients
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and recovery
- Participate in tumor boards, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives
- Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Stay current with best practices, emerging therapies, and clinical guidelines through continuing education and training
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
