Dental Hygienist

Gentle Dental North Meridian is located at 1002 N. Meridian Street, Suite 104A, Puyallup, WA 98371, USA. We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate is a personable professional who is passionate about dental health and enjoys building strong relationships with patients.

Compensation includes a competitive hourly base pay up to $75 per hour with uncapped bonus potential, a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) with company match, and an additional pre‑tax savings plan.

• Conduct thorough hygiene procedures, including scaling and root planing, gingivitis scaling, and prophylaxis.
• Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, medical history assessments, and caries risk assessments.
• Educate patients on hygiene treatments based on medical and periodontal assessments.
• Take digital radiographs as necessary for patient diagnosis.
• Assist in developing personalized AAP and ADA–based treatment plans per patient need.
• Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Engage patients in a friendly, reassuring manner, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and completed procedures.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.

• Degree or certification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental hygiene license.
• CPR, Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Laser certification (where required).
