Responsibilities- Operate machinery and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Perform mechanical assembly and ensure quality manufacturing.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with extrusion operators and the maintenance team.
- Take initiative to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in mechanical skills, mechanical assembly, quality, manufacturing, or operating.
- Ability to work and stand on feet for 8 hours a day.
- Fluency in reading and writing English due to heavy documentation requirements.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools and machine setup.
- Mechanically inclined with a keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to work various shifts and overtime when necessary.
This role is based in a clean and innovative manufacturing facility where you will work closely with the extrusion operators and the maintenance team. The company is a leader in medical extrusion products and offers a growing and supportive environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Putnam, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $20.00/hr.
