You will conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication and strong customer service. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, suspicious conditions, and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor access points, observe CCTV and/or alarm systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or restricted-area concerns according to site procedures.

+ Complete accurate shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and client communications, and promptly escalate issues through the chain of command.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid guard card and/or security guard license is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
