As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Shift in Purchase, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a fast‑paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security‑related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support access control, and deliver respectful customer service and clear communication.

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout production, warehouse, and office areas as well as exterior grounds to help deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic, verify identification and/or deliveries when assigned, and direct visitors and drivers according to location procedures.
• Complete timely documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate notable conditions to the oncoming officer and/or supervisor.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
