Overview
The Retail Sales Associate Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven execution of the Perfect Store strategy. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing retailer-level data to track compliance against Perfect Store KPIs, generate actionable insights, and support continuous improvement across distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with commercial understanding to help field teams and customer leads drive in-store excellence.
ResponsibilitiesData & Analytics
- Aggregate and analyze retailer data (POS, loyalty, syndicated, field audits) to measure compliance against Perfect Store KPIs.
- Build dashboards and scorecards to visualize performance across distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising.
- Identify execution gaps and opportunities at store, banner, and channel levels.
- Support test-and-learn initiatives by analyzing pilot results and recommending scale-up strategies.
- Partner with field teams to translate analytics into targeted store-level actions.
- Provide analytical support for Joint Business Plans, category reviews, and Perfect Store playbooks.
- Monitor the impact of shopper-based design principles on shelf performance and conversion.
- Track the effectiveness of merchandising activations and secondary placements.
- Work closely with the Head of Perfect Store Analytics and Insights to refine KPI frameworks and measurement methodologies.
- Collaborate with sales, category, and trade marketing teams to ensure alignment on execution priorities.
- Train internal stakeholders on dashboard usage, data interpretation, and insight application.
- Manage relationships with external data providers and visualization platforms.
- 5+ years in analytics, category management, or commercial strategy within FMCG, retail, or consumer goods.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel.
- Experience working with retailer data (POS, loyalty, syndicated) and field execution metrics.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,000 - $106,000 per year. Confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
