Overview

Senior Managing Consultant – Services Business Development – Cobrand. Be part of a team that brings the best of Mastercard to our most strategic customers, driving growth through innovative merchant solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with clients to drive revenue growth and expand buying centers.
  • Demonstrate high confidence in networking and initiating contact with new prospects to generate and qualify leads.
  • Take ownership of the sales process from prospecting to executing commercial contracts, ensuring seamless sales cycles.
  • Lead both formal and informal pitches, delivering concise and persuasive materials tailored to the audience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine engagement scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support project / customer success teams in problem‑solving efforts and structuring project workplans.
  • Create and deliver compelling and concise presentations that effectively communicate key insights and recommendations.
  • Coach and provide valuable feedback to team members, fostering professional growth.
  • Proactively seek new knowledge and skills, contributing to the development of intellectual capital within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Significant, consultative B2B sales experience, preferably in professional services, SaaS, data & analytics, loyalty and/or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, enabling complex challenge handling.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, fostering long‑term partnerships with clients.
  • Strong networker across relevant stakeholder base with the ability to listen, build common ground and influence to advance business opportunities and generate revenues.
  • Strong commercial drive with the ability to monetize senior client relationships based on empathy, thought leadership, product impact, and subject matter expertise.
  • Must own and drive end‑to‑end sales including prospecting, scoping/pricing, business case development, contract development, client negotiation, and project kickoff.
  • Experience managing projects and teams, showcasing leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of consumer and commercial payments market is a plus; comfort with macro‑economic concepts and corporate finance is a plus.
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Commerce (B.Com), Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Systems Engineering or related field; MBA or relevant post‑graduate degree preferred.

  • Atlanta, Georgia: $151,000 - $238,000 USD
  • Boston, Massachusetts: $174,000 - $274,000 USD
  • Chicago, Illinois: $151,000 - $238,000 USD
  • San Francisco, California: $181,000 - $286,000 USD
  • Seattle, Washington: $174,000 - $274,000 USD
