Triton's Internship Program is a paid opportunity for talented and qualified individuals to gain real world, resume‑building experience at a globally diverse, industry‑leading company. Triton International is seeking an Accounting Intern to assist our Accounting team with various internal and external accounting requirements. This role provides hands‑on experience in a variety of areas within corporate accounting. The intern will work closely with the entire Accounting department, rotating through different areas including external reporting and equipment accounting. To be successful, the individual is expected to be a self‑starter, enthusiastic and curious about all facets of accounting.
- Assisting with various responsibilities within the Accounting Department including the preparation of work papers and journal entries, account reconciliations, and obtaining supporting documentation for internal control procedures.
- Supporting the team with variance analysis of corporate results while working with various departments to obtain insights and document cohesive explanations.
- Assisting with the preparation of consolidated financial statements for internal and external reporting requirements.
- Supporting SEC‑related reporting functions such as 20F, 6K's, etc.
- Assisting with ad‑hoc projects as needed.
- Rising senior or recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Knowledge of D365 a plus
- Ability to take ownership and shows interest in work‑related initiatives
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to commit to 37.5 hours/week from June 8th - August 14th, 2026.
- Must be within 50 miles of the Purchase, NY office
