Overview
Full-time Dental Assistant Job Description
We are looking for a personable, outgoing dental assistant for our periodontal surgery offices in Purcellville and Sterling, VA. While the position is primarily clinical, staff members in our office are cross-trained to work at the reception desk as well as in direct hands-on patient care in the clinical setting in both offices.
Responsibilities- Greet patients and answer their questions
- Set up operatories as needed for visits and ensure office and operatories are clean and stocked
- Assist doctor in examination and treatment of the patient
- Schedule patient appointments
- Collect patient payments when needed
- Confirm all patient forms are complete and entered electronically
- Take radiographs
- Give hygiene instruction
- Any other tasks assigned
Part-time / Full-time
Salary$22 to $28 per hour
QualificationsExperience:
Dental assisting experience preferred. Basic computer skills needed.
